If you're considering abortion, the first step is a pre-abortion screening that may include an ultrasound, based on our nurse's medical discretion.
An ultrasound can confirm two important things:
Is your pregnancy progressing?
How far along you are matters. It affects which abortion methods are available to you and what they might cost. This depends on your health history and the stage of your pregnancy.
Is your pregnancy viable?
Not every pregnancy continues on its own. Up to 1 in 4 pregnancies end naturally, and many women don’t know they’ve miscarried until it’s seen on an ultrasound. If that’s the case, follow-up medical care may be needed.
At Agape, ultrasounds are provided at no cost to help you get clear, accurate information before you make any decisions. Please let us know you are wanting a pre-abortion screening when making your appointment.
The timeline for pregnancy decisions can vary based on how far along you are and the type of care you’re considering. Many people find it helpful to first confirm details like pregnancy dating, which can affect what options are available and when.
An appointment with Agape Women's Clinic can help you get accurate information and understand any time-related factors without requiring you to make a decision that day.
You remain in control of the timing and outcome of your decision.
Many women report feeling subtle, or significant, pressure from others when facing a pregnancy decision. You deserve time, clarity, and the freedom to decide what’s right for you.
You have the legal right to choose the outcome of your pregnancy. No partner, parent, or other person can legally force, threaten, or pressure you into having an abortion.
If you’re feeling pressured, unsupported, or unsure whether your decision truly feels like your own, you’re not alone. Our team can help you understand your rights, talk through your situation, and advocate for you if needed.
We care about you and respect the difficult situation you are facing. However, we don’t provide abortion medication or birth control, nor perform any surgical procedures.
If you’re looking for a safe, confidential place to talk, we do provide all the essential services and answers needed before making an abortion decision. Schedule a pre-abortion screening and we can walk you as you navigate an abortion decision.
